Dean’s Holidays (Past Simple & Present Perfect) #103

This is a double pack. Basically, this download offers two versions of the same class.

In the first version the students must learn – or revise – the Past Simple forms of several verbs and them apply them to Dean’s holiday (He learnt how to surf / He didn’t meet any celebrities / He made a lot of friends….). There is a connect 4 game to finish.

The second version is the similar but is aimed at using the Present Perfect. It starts with some questions that need to be completed with the Past Participle. Then, using a picture for clues, the students will talk about what Dean has done on holiday. The class will also end with the Connect 4 game.
